Emily and Garrett’s wedding day was truly special. They wanted to honor their family and express their faith. It all started at Journey Church in Depere, Wisconsin, where they got ready. Their first look was simple and soft, they had such a beautiful moment. It was a moment just for the two of them. They exchanged vows before their ceremony and we followed up with their portraits. It was litterally, the most perfect way to begin their day. A first look with vow exchanges, followed up with portrait sets, sets the tone.
Their ceremony was focused on God’s faithfulness in their life. Their gratitude for eachother was overflowing. From the music, to the readings, and the message, faith was the most central and important piece to their day. They honored their walk with God and it was evident. My most favorite moment was watching their family surround them in prayer.
Their reception took place at Vickery Village in Suamico, WI. This outdoor venue is in a charming village. The setting was bright, white, and stunning. The weather couldn’t have been better. Everything felt just right.
After dinner, we took portraits around Vickery Village. Suamico has the best downtown location for beautiful pictures and Vickery Village is RIGHT THERE. The venue even created a customized welcome sign for Emily and Garrett. It added a beautiful personal touch to their day! There was a vintage vibe throughout the place, which made it feel even more special.
Capturing moments like these is what makes being part of weddings wonderful. Seeing the joy, love, and unity on a couple’s special day is a true privilege. Emily and Garrett’s day was filled with love, laughter, and precious memories, and I am grateful to have been there to document it all.
