Katie & Jeff’s Glacier National Park Wedding | Kalispell, Montana
Katie and Jeff’s love story stretches across cities, mountains, and miles — from Chicago to Dallas, and finally to the breathtaking peaks of Glacier National Park.
Katie lived in Chicago, while Jeff lived in Dallas, often flying to visit her as they built their relationship long-distance. Despite the miles between them, their connection grew stronger with every visit. Both had their own experiences exploring Montana before they ever met — and both fell deeply in love with Glacier National Park. So when it came time to plan their wedding, there was no question where they wanted to say “I do.”
This wedding was extra special for me personally. Katie and I actually spent a week in Glacier together about 10 years ago, making memories hiking through the park — including the unforgettable Highline Trail. So to be back in this same place, years later, capturing her wedding day felt like such a full-circle moment.
Katie and Jeff planned their entire day from afar, and I had the privilege of helping them navigate timelines, locations, and all the logistics that come with a destination wedding in the mountains. Katie chose to host the ceremony and family stay at Snowline’s Airbnb in Kalispell, a gorgeous property overlooking the valley. The view was absolutely incredible — the perfect backdrop for an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest 30 guests who had flown in from all over the country.
After the ceremony, we all headed into Glacier National Park for a private boat ride on Lake McDonald, followed by sunset portraits that truly captured the magic of the park. The golden light, the still water, and the joy between Katie and Jeff made every frame feel timeless.
Their wedding theme quote was “Two Hearts, One Trail,” and honestly, I can’t think of anything more fitting. From long-distance flights to mountain trails, every step of their story led right here — to this beautiful moment in Glacier.
